What we count

We sell qualified viewable impressions. One is counted when at least 50% of a fully drawn sponsored ad is visible for one continuous second while the OmniRush window is visible and in front. If the ad drops below that threshold, or the app is hidden or loses focus, the timer starts again.

Each display of an ad has its own display ID and counts at most once, however long it stays on screen. Displays that never qualify are not billed.

Ads appear only in these placements. They are labelled Sponsored, can be dismissed, and never appear inside answers. Paid campaigns run only in app versions that apply this policy. These versions are rolling out now, so we confirm the impressions available for your dates before you pay.

How often an ad is shown

  • A new display starts only when someone opens a new conversation, or comes back after 30 minutes without activity. Ads do not rotate on every prompt or on a timer.
  • Billable impressions are capped per device per advertiser per day, and unusual volumes are held for review before billing.
  • Test traffic, OmniRush staff, duplicate events and known automated traffic are excluded from billed totals.

When a campaign stops

A campaign stops at its impression goal, its budget or its end date, whichever comes first, and is never billed beyond its budget. If prepaid impressions are still undelivered at the end date, the advertiser chooses an agreed extension or a proportional refund for the undelivered impressions.

Clicks and attribution

A click is counted when someone opens the ad's link, separately from the impression; a link opens only when the person chooses to open it. We add only these tags to the link, nothing that identifies the person:

utm_source=omnirush&utm_medium=paid_display&utm_campaign=<campaign id>

Today, what happens after the click (sign-ups, demos, installs) is measured in the advertiser's own analytics. When we add conversion reporting, a conversion will be credited to OmniRush only for the last OmniRush click within 7 days, with no credit for views alone.

Reports and privacy

  • Reports are aggregate totals (views, clicks, click-through rate and spend, by day, country and placement), with no data about individual people. Advertisers get a weekly report and a read-only link to their campaign's totals.
  • Country counts come from the connection's country at the time of the view. They are not stored per person.
  • To measure ads, the apps tell us which ad was shown, became viewable, was clicked or was dismissed, and when; never anything from a conversation.
  • Ads are never part of anyone's conversations, are never sent to the AI model, and are not part of session data. Ad images are served by OmniRush, not by the advertiser. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.

Changes to this policy

This page is versioned. A campaign is measured under the version in effect when it was booked, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Questions: [email protected], or see Advertise with OmniRush.
